The 2019 Nissan Titan is available in five unique trim levels: S, SV, SL, Platinum Reserve, and the Pro-4X. A 5.6-liter V8 engine that generates 390 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque comes with each trim level. The engine comes paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard while four-wheel drive is optional.

The base S trim comes with push-button ignition, cloth upholstery, Android Auto, a rearview camera, a lockable damped tailgate, a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, 18-inch steel wheels, a six-speaker audio system, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and much more.

The base WT comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, 17-inch steel wheels, Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker audio system, Android Auto, and more while the Custom adds 20-inch wheels, remote entry, front tow hooks, and cruise control. With the Custom Trail Boss, you receive 18-inch black wheels, a trailering package, and more.

The top trim, the High Country, comes with 20-inch chrome wheels, chrome side step rails, ventilated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, wireless phone charging, rear cross-traffic alert, a spray-on bed liner, lane departure warning, and more.

When it comes to safety for the lower trims, you’ll want to add the Safety package which consists of front parking sensors, blind-spot warning, lane departure warning, and others. There’s also a Safety package II which adds a safety alert seat, automatic high beams, lane keeping assist, and forward collision warning.

How Can You Choose?

Both the Titan and the Silverado provide a variety of comfort and technology features. Not only will you be comfortable in either truck, you’ll also enjoy the many tech options which will keep you engaged and entertained mile after mile. However, when it comes to safety, the Silverado feels as if it lacks in this department since so many advanced safety features must be equipped with packages. That’s just one of the reasons we choose the 2019 Nissan Titan as the winner here.
